Purchase a reserved seat at your chosen table and bring a single-person collapsible camping chair to sit in comfort (plastic folding chairs will be waiting for you at your table)NOTE: You may be sitting with others if you are not purchasing every seat at the table.

Order drinks directly from your reserved table by scanning a QR code and paying with your phone via all major credit cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Sit back and relax as our event staff will deliver your drinks straight to your seat! If you have General Admission tickets, there is a regular full-service bar  set up to order. Food trucks will be on site with a variety of offerings for every diet.

Enjoy the live comedy in the comfort of your own camping chair! Festival approved chairs must be single person, collapsible, not recline or have protruding leg rests/coverings. Blankets/tarps (max size 6′ x 6′) and approved festival chairs are permitted in designated General Admission areas. Chairs are NOT available for rent for General Admission ticket holders.

Kinsmen Park is located between the High Level Bridge and Walterdale Road on the south banks of the North Saskatchewan River with a hybrid setup of VIP Reserved Tables and General Admission space to see your favourite comedians live!

GETTING HERE

Official GOCF Shuttle details below! There is no event parking available at the festival grounds; the nearest parking is across the Walterdale Bridge at the REMAX Field lots (5 minute walk). Ride share drop-off is in the main Kinsmen Sports Centre parking lot. Please be respectful of the surrounding communities when coming and going from the event!

Hop on the official GOCF shuttle to and from the event from PURE Casino Yellowhead (12464 153 St NW) and PURE Casino Edmonton (7055 Argyll Rd NW).
$20 shuttle ticket includes your seat on the bus, a burger & a beer! Parking is free at the casino. Bus leaves PURE Casino  at 5:45pm and returns from Kinsmen Park after the show ends at 11:00pm.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Due to extreme air quality, the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival is not proceeding with Friday’s kickoff show. Fortunately, the FULL lineup of comedians has agreed to play on Saturday evening, with forecasts of better air quality! Ticket holders will be contacted directly via email with further information as soon as it becomes available. All current tickets will be honoured for the rescheduled show and refunds will be made available for those that cannot make it. Stay safe, and see you tomorrow!

Don’t panic! If you are having any technical difficulties on the ticketing system, please visit support.tixr.com and submit a Support Ticket (blue button at the top right) and a Tixr Customer Service Agent will help you out! Tickets for The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival are only sold online.

If your Postal Code is giving you an error, try entering it without a space in the middle. If that doesn’t work, please reach out to Tixr Support ([email protected]) and they can definitely help you through it!

You absolutely can as long as inventory is available and you are upgrading to the same Ticket Tier or higher. Email [email protected] with your order information and they will help you out, or visit us at the Box Office or Guest Services to upgrade on site!

Exact comedian stage times will not be posted as the schedule is subject to change. Make sure to come down early and enjoy the festivities!

The festival site is fully licensed! Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase, as well as various food options including options for those with dietary restrictions.

Outside cannabis is prohibited and attendees will be subject to search upon arrival. Purchases of cannabis products will be available through The Garden, an on-site cannabis experience, with cannabis delivered straight to the show! Pre-purchases will be available 3 days before the show, and will be ready for pick up 1 hour after doors open – stay tuned for the menu!

Check relax in The Garden, the festival’s designated cannabis consumption area, powered by Chinook Cannabis! All cannabis products must be consumed with the cannabis consumption area. Standard laws apply in regard to selling or illegal use of the product which will be governed by local police services. Please respect others around you when smoking.

Nope; everything is live and in person!

Bill Burr’s performance will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones, smart watches and accessories will not be permitted on the festival grounds during that time. Upon arrival at the event you will be given a Yondr pouch. If you have a General Admission ticket you will be required to secure and lock your phone, smart watch and accessories in the pouch upon entry. If you have a VIP Reserved ticket, at 8:30pm you must place your phone, smart watch and accessories in it and lock it. This process will be monitored by security and event staff. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times, guests can access their devices during this period only in the designated Phone Use Area within the grounds. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space. Event staff will unlock your Yondr pouch as you exit the grounds. Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the grounds by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free experience. All pouches and equipment are routinely sanitized. The Yondr staff is trained and required to follow safety guidelines and hygiene protocols.

There will be no re-entry for this festival. Please ensure you have everything you need for the day before you arrive on site!

The event grounds are fully accessible within their own limitations of being a natural uneven grass surface.  Accessible washrooms will be available on site. No, these events are all NO MINORS – no exceptions.

  • Noise makers, fireworks, laser pointers, pocket knives, tools or any other potentially harmful items

All guests and their belongings will be subject to search prior to entering the festival site. Security and Festival Management reserves the right to refuse entry to persons and/or belongings at their discretion.
