Tickets for the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival are only available online through Tixr. Buying from any third-party sites is at your own risk (ticket transfers are available on your ticketing account).

This event is NO MINORS (19+) and is a go rain or shine – you must have valid government issued photo ID to enter the grounds.

VIP Reserved tickets are selected by you and purchased as individual seats at reserved tables with full drink service via QR codes on your table (accepting all major credit cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay). Chairs will be at your table, but feel free to bring your own camping chair (single person) for added comfort!

Great Outdoors Comedy Festival - Accessible Seating Availability

The event grounds and both ticket types are fully accessible within their own limitations of being a natural uneven grass surface.  Accessible washrooms will be available on site. Please reach out if there is anything we can do to assist or make your experience more accommodating! A designated viewing area for those in wheelchairs and their +1 can be arranged.

If you are deaf or hard of hearing, please reach out to us and will arrange for a designated space in the General Admission area with an ASL interpreter for you.

Please  be respectful of your neighbours and the performers and keep conversations to a minimum when the show is on!

Bill Burr’s performance on August 13th will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones, smart watches and accessories will not be permitted on the festival grounds during that time. Upon arrival at the event you will be given a Yondr pouch. If you have a General Admission ticket you will be required to secure and lock your phone, smart watch and accessories in the pouch upon entry. If you have a VIP Reserved ticket, you must place your phone, smart watch and accessories in it and lock it when instructed. This process will be monitored by security and event staff. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times, guests can access their devices during this period only in the designated Phone Use Area within the grounds. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space. Event staff will unlock your Yondr pouch as you exit the grounds. Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the grounds by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free experience. All pouches and equipment are routinely sanitized. The Yondr staff is trained and required to follow safety guidelines and hygiene protocols.

Don’t fight for parking – hop on the official GOCF Halifax shuttle to and from the Garrison Grounds sponsored by Casino Nova Scotia!  Shuttle is free to all with a ticket to that day’s show.  Shuttle will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting at ½ hour before doors, leaving every ½ hour. First come, first serve.

Order drinks directly from your Reserved Table by scanning a QR code and paying with your phone via all major credit cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Sit back & relax as our event staff will deliver your order straight to your seat!

Festival proceeds in support of The Canadian Progress Club, Halifax; creating paths for people with special needs. The Canadian Progress Club is a dynamic organization of charitable-minded Canadians who are passionate and committed to strengthening our communities through hands-on service and fundraising, to benefit those in need. In addition to their commitment to local communities, on a national level, Canadian Progress Club proudly supports Special Olympics Canada through the Canadian Progress Charitable Foundation.

Utilize the Tixr Payment Plan for an additional $9.99 fee per order. Pay in recurring payments until up to 2 weeks before the festival. The payment schedule and amount you owe will be displayed during checkout. Tickets must be paid in full by the final payment date for your tickets to be distributed and validated.

You may update the credit card on your payment plan at any time by saving a credit card to your account and selecting the new card in Payment Plan Details. You may cancel your order in the middle of a payment plan, but in doing so you agree to forfeit all funds from previous payments.

If a payment fails, your order risks cancellation and forfeiture of all instalments paid. Tixr or the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival are not required to contact you if your payment method fails.

All ticket sales are final. The safety and security of all involved in this festival is our top priority and we will do our best to push the show through any weather as long as it is safe to do so. If a headliner needs to be replaced, we will do our best to fill that spot and a refund window may be available if deemed acceptable. We will continue to remain attentive as the event approaches to keep everyone informed through our website, email/SMS notifications and social media.

Ticket transfers are now available by logging in to your Tixr account.

If you wish to exchange your ticket to a higher Tier or larger table, you must first purchase the new table from your same Tixr account, then reach out to Tixr Support for assistance.

Any persons not adhering to the Trixstar LIVE Code of Conduct at the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival may be removed from the grounds at Festival Management and Security’s discretion with no refund.
