Let’s head north to Treaty 6 Territory – Amiskwacîwâskahikan, also known as Edmonton. Heading into our fifth summer in the ‘City of Champions’, GOCF takes over Kinsmen Park nestled in the beautiful river valley on the south banks of the North Saskatchewan River. Past headliners have included Bill Burr, Kevin Hart, Chelsea Handler, Tom Segura, Andrew Schulz, Shane Gillis, Amy Schumer, Bert Kreischer, David Spade and more!
We are committed to Reconciliation and respectfully acknowledge that our festival is situated on Treaty 6 territory, and respects the histories, languages, and cultures of First Nations, Métis, Inuit, and all First Peoples of Canada, whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries and whose presence continues to enrich our vibrant community. We honour their presence, stewardship and strength in this area since time immemorial. We are grateful to be a guest on this territory.
Through the Great Outdoors Community Fund, a portion of proceeds from the 2024 festival supported YOUCAN Youth Services, Common Ground Arts Society and the Rapid Fire Theatre Society. Past recipients have included Boyle Street Community Services and STARS.
