FESTIVAL POLICIES
GOCF is committed to creating a safe and comfortable entertainment experience for everyone to enjoy in a reasonable and respectable manner.
Our events are not a place for behaviour that is inappropriate, off-topic, disruptive, abusive, or illegal and all Participants (Attendees, Staff, Volunteers, Contractors, Partners, Suppliers, Media and Event Personnel) are expected to comply with the GOCF Code of Conduct to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Participants must abide by all event guidelines such as prohibited items, designated smoking areas, or accessing restricted areas without proper accreditation. Fencing or barriers should never be moved or broken without direct approval from Festival Management unless in the case of an emergency. All Participants, along with any items they are carrying or conveying, are subject to search prior to being admitted to the festival grounds.
GOCF may act in its discretion to address any Participants that fail to meet the standards set forth by the festival, including, without limitation, revoking the violating parties’ tickets or credentials without refund.

All Participants are encouraged to report any interaction that makes them uncomfortable in any way. If you see something, say something. Security exists for the safety and well-being of everyone. Flag down the nearest staff member, medical professional, or security guard if anything feels out of place or suspicious. Have a great time and take care of yourself and others!

GOCF is an outdoor event (rain or shine), however, there are several instances in which the festival may be paused, evacuated, or canceled due to inclement weather, including (but not limited to): severe thunderstorms, lightning in our festival radius, excessive wind, hail, flooding, air-quality, or as directed by local emergency personnel. Line-up and show schedule are subject to change.

If a site evacuation becomes necessary, attendees will either be advised to temporarily seek shelter or that the festival is cancelled for the remainder of the day. To allow the necessary time to safely evacuate the festival grounds, the evacuation notice may occur before any weather conditions are viewable. We request that all attendees follow the directions of festival staff, security and local law enforcement.

GOCF policy is that photography, filming, videotaping or other forms of recording without consent of the Festival and/or the Artist is strictly prohibited. Guests who abuse this policy will be subject to ejection. Certain Artists may also require smart devices (cell phones, smart watches etc.) to be secured in pouches like Yondr. Please check the details of your show at purchase to learn if this is the case.

As with any live performance there is a certain decorum that we all have to maintain to have a great experience. We owe this to the all Participants of the festival. Heckling is interrupting the performance to upstage, disparage, or throw off the artist. It is never acceptable and can negatively impact other Participants’ experience at GOCF. It can lead to ejection if it crosses the line or is disruptive. Please also keep table or group talk to a minimum while the performances are happening.

Use your own discretion when attending GOCF. We aim to preserve comedy as an art-form without censoring the Artists’ material. Some performances may contain potentially offensive content. Consider your own comfort level with sensitive topics before attending. If you are unsure about specific language and subject matter that may be used, please contact us or do your own research on the Artists’ performing on that show.

All ticket sales are final. The safety and security of all involved in this festival is our top priority and we will do our best to push the show through any weather as long as it is safe to do so. If a headliner needs to be replaced, we will do our best to fill that spot and a refund window may be available if deemed acceptable. We will continue to remain attentive as the event approaches to keep everyone informed through our website, email/SMS notifications and social media.

Ticket transfers are available by logging in to your Tixr account.

If you wish to exchange your ticket to a higher Tier or larger table, you must first purchase the new table from your same Tixr account, then reach out to Tixr Support for assistance.

Any persons not adhering to the Code of Conduct at GOCF may be removed from the grounds at Festival Management and Security’s discretion with no refund.
