Let’s head south to Calgary, where outdoor explorations transition to urban adventures. Heading into our fourth summer in the wild west, GOCF takes over Prince’s Island Park nestled north of downtown on the Bow River. Past headliners have included Bill Burr, Tom Segura, Iliza Shlesinger, Andrew Schulz, Russell Peters, Jonathan Van Ness, Nick Offerman, David Spade and more!
We are committed to Reconciliation and respectfully acknowledge that our festival is situated on the unceded traditional territories of Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. We honour their presence, stewardship and strength in this area since time immemorial. We are grateful to be a guest on this territory.
Through the Great Outdoors Community Fund, 50/50 raffle proceeds from the 2024 festival supported Easter Seals Alberta: Camp Horizon. Past festival proceed recipients have been The Mustard Seed, Accessible Queer Spaces, Kids Up Front and the Autism Aspergers Friendship Society.
