All bags and persons are subject to search upon entry into the GOCF grounds. Security and Festival Management reserves the right to refuse entry to persons and/or belongings at their discretion with no refund. Please be aware there is no re-entry to the festival.
  • No outside drinks are permitted (only up to 1L of water in a factory sealed bottle) – personal reusable bottles must be emptied before entering the festival grounds
  • No home made food permitted (small commercially sealed snacks only)
  • Glass containers or glass of any kind
  • Hard-sided coolers or non-collapsible wagons
  • Chairs that do not collapse, two-person chairs, couches, etc
  • Umbrellas over 42″ in diameter (cannot have metal or pointed tips) – umbrellas must be put down when the show starts if it is not raining.
  • Large banners or signs
  • Professional cameras, GoPros, selfie sticks, drones or audio/video recording devices of any kind
  • Tents or pole structures of any kind
  • Pets (service animals only)
  • Frisbees, sports balls, beach balls, etc
  • Weapons or anything that could resemble a weapon
  • Gang insignia, offensive signs/clothing, etc
  • Noise makers, fireworks, laser pointers, pocket knives, tools or any other potentially harmful items

All patrons must have valid government issued photo identification to enter the grounds.

Festival approved chairs must be single person, collapsible, not recline or have protruding leg rests or coverings. Chairs not adhering to festival guidelines will not be permitted through the gates.  Visit our FAQ page for more details and examples.

Blankets or tarps have a maximum size of 6′ x 6′.

Use of smart devices like phones, smart watches and accessories may not be permitted on the festival grounds during certain performances. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times and can access their devices only in the designated Phone Use Area within the grounds (typically near Guest Services).  Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the grounds by Security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free experience when applicable.

GOCF policy is that photography, filming, videotaping or other forms of recording without consent of the Festival and/or the Artist is strictly prohibited. Guests who abuse this policy will be subject to ejection. Certain Artists may also require smart devices (cell phones, smart watches etc.) to be secured in pouches like Yondr. Please check the details of your show at purchase to learn if this is the case.

 

Attendees agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the event. You grant permission to the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival, Trixstar Productions Ltd, Trixstar Entertainment Inc, our partners, licensees and assigns, including but not limited to our brand and media partners, to utilize your name, image, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearance, movements, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event for any purpose, in any manner, in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed, without further authorization from, or compensation to, you or anyone acting on your behalf. You may not record, copy, publicly exhibit, transmit, or distribute any portion of the event through any means.

All Participants are encouraged to report any interaction that makes them uncomfortable in any way. If you see something, say something. Security exists for the safety and well-being of everyone. Flag down the nearest staff member, medical professional, or security guard if anything feels out of place or suspicious. Have a great time and take care of yourself and others!

GOCF is committed to creating a safe and comfortable entertainment experience for everyone to enjoy in a reasonable and respectable manner.
Our events are not a place for behaviour that is inappropriate, off-topic, disruptive, abusive, or illegal and all Participants (Attendees, Staff, Volunteers, Contractors, Partners, Suppliers, Media and Event Personnel) are expected to comply with the GOCF Code of Conduct to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Participants must abide by all event guidelines such as prohibited items, designated smoking areas, or accessing restricted areas without proper accreditation. Fencing or barriers should never be moved or broken without direct approval from Festival Management unless in the case of an emergency. All Participants, along with any items they are carrying or conveying, are subject to search prior to being admitted to the festival grounds.
GOCF may act in its discretion to address any Participants that fail to meet the standards set forth by the festival, including, without limitation, revoking the violating parties’ tickets or credentials without refund.
