Getting to the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival at Garrison Grounds is easy, with plenty of transportation options available. We strongly encourage guests to walk, bike, take public transit, or use ride-share services, as there is no on-site festival parking. Before you arrive, be sure to note the correct entrance for your ticket type: VIP guests should enter via Sackville Street, while GA and GA+ guests should enter via Ahern Avenue. There is NO festival parking. Nearby parkades vary in cost and availability: Purdy’s Wharf, Halifax Central Library, Scotia Square, Spring Garden Place, Doyle Building, and others nearby.
Several Halifax Transit bus routes serve the area, including 10B, 123, 138, 9A, and 9B. Connections available from Scotia Square, Spring Garden Road, and other transit hubs.
Citadel High School would be the ideal location for ride-share drop offs and pickups. Walking, transit, ride share, or micro-mobility options are strongly encouraged!
Garrison Grounds is within walking distance from downtown Halifax, Spring Garden Road, and the ferry terminal. Bike lanes and sidewalks are available throughout the area, with bike racks located nearby (not monitored or secured by GOCF).
