Getting to the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival in Stanley Park is easy, with plenty of transportation options available. We strongly encourage guests to walk, bike, take public transit, or use ride-share services, as there is no on-site festival parking. Review the information below to help plan your trip and ensure a smooth arrival.
There is no dedicated festival parking, and all city parking/traffic laws must be obeyed. Stanley Park parking is very limited and strongly discouraged during the festival. Due to event-specific road closures, scheduled traffic delays, and other concurrent events in the area, driving into the park puts you at real risk of getting stuck in gridlock. If you do choose to drive, multiple park-and-pay lots are available inside the park. The festival takes place near the Totem Poles/Brockton Oval.
TransLink #19 is the only bus route that enters the park, with stops at Stanley Park Drive & Pipeline Road, and Stanley Park Loop. Easy transfers from SkyTrain Expo Line at Granville or Burrard stations to the #19 bus.
Trips from downtown cost approximately $10-15, but delays can occur during peak times on the park causeway. Consider getting dropped off at the Aquarium and it is a short walk to the entrance gates from there!
The Seawall leads directly to Brockton Point and the Totem Poles from both Coal Harbour (east) and English Bay (west). It's about a 15–20 minute walk or a 5–10 minute bike ride from downtown hotels via the Georgia Street entrance or Seawall. There will be festival-provided bike parking stations near the main gates (park at your own risk). All pedestrians and cyclists are reminded to please stay off the roadway.
